Canadian/British electro-rock outfit Radio Wolf will release its highly anticipated debut four-track EP “Rock ‘N’ Roll Forever” on Oct. 31. Check out the video for the track “Song on the Radio” here:
Radio Wolf is the creation of songwriter, musician and producer Oliver Blair. His original electronic rock outfit, Kindle, transformed his music into a visual experience complete with cyberpunk burlesque dancers. After building a name for himself by touring and collaborating with UK artists including Ladytron, Sohodolls, Client, Hotel Motel and Kelli Ali, as well as performing at the legendary Notting Hill Arts Club, electro-pop band Client quickly signed him to their independent record label, Loser Friendly. His all-instrumental first album was then released, simply titled “Kindle.”
As Radio Wolf, Oliver has written and produced retro-future rock songs with guest vocalists as collaborators, Marika Gauci (Hotel Motel), Sarah Blackwood (Client/Dubstar), Kelli Ali (Sneaker Pimps) and Holly Dodson (Parallels). The sound is a unique fusion of electronic music and rock ’n’ roll, with a distinct retro-futuristic edge. The songs are crafted with lyrical and melodic power, combining uncanny rock guitar hooks, lush electronics, and distinctive vocal delivery.
