Cavegreen has recently released its new album “Vita Lucida” on Feb. 3, 2017. Check out the electro-pop video single “Witches Dream” here:
The song focuses on the themes of dreaming and the night and originally was a slow song until Cavegreen decided it should be something you can dance to late at night. The video was shot in the Pacific Northwest, where the duo hails from.
Cavegreen is the artistic collaboration of Eleanor Murray (vocals, electronics, drums, piano, guitar) and Gianluca Bucci (vocals, lyrics). Eleanor is a musician, songwriter, and performer for more than a decade, and has released five studio albums and toured the U.S. extensively. Gianluca comes from a background of environmental work, photography, and an ongoing interest in the ancient and modern philosophical traditions of the earth.
The duo’s first full-length album “Vita Lucida” combines earthly drum beats with dreamy melodies to make an ethereal soundscape that is all their own. The lyrics are about the deep human connectivity to nature which blends well with the soothing dance vibes found throughout the album. Check out the nature-inspired “Sun” video single here:
