Canadian post-punk outfit Port Juvee has released a new music video for their track “Double Vision.” Check out the retro spaced-aged nostalgia here:
The quintet band said about the video’s art direction, “There’s a somber, almost haunting feel to the focus and intensity of the astronauts as they slowly go through the paces, preparing to be shot into space… which matches up nicely to the effects used throughout the song, as well as the concepts lyrically.”
The garage rock band is premiering this song in anticipation for its upcoming album “CRIMEWAVE” to be released Nov. 4 on digital, CD and cassette formats. The album is a collection of seven songs produced by the band with the help from Justin Gerrish who worked on Vampire Weekend’s “Contra.” “CRIMEWAVE” is Port Juvee’s third studio release and moves between lackadaisical punk to garage rhythms and to 80’s-inspired escapism.
Be sure to check out “CRIMEWAVE” when it comes out Nov. 4.
