Mexican-born and Chicago-based singer-songwriter Esteban Lartigue has recently released his latest upbeat rock track “Not a Robot” available on streaming now. Check out the full song below:
It’s that time of the year again. Summer has arrived and so have our new playlists featuring songs that are all about the outdoors and having fun. It seems Esteban is aware of this also, and has released his track “Not a Robot” at the right time.
The song starts with synths and a heavy guitar strum before jumping into a toe-tapping riff that will instantly make you want to dance. The rhythmic section of drum and bass will have you enthusiastically jumping along full of energy. “Not a Robot” is a ray of sunshine that will elevate anyone’s feelings in no time.
Aside from the instruments, Esteban is no stranger to lending his vocals to an array of varying singing styles, starting at the age of 5. On “Not a Robot,” his voice is full of liveliness and passion and you can feel he is having a good time. He shows off his talents in English but is also an accomplished singer in Spanish as well. Lyrically, Esteban wants to make it clear he is not a robot, which is a necessary reminder to all of us who feel automated in this modern, high-tech world.
Although the song is short, it is perfect for blasting at full volume while on the highway with the windows down. There is a sense of wonder in the song and you can tell it doesn’t take itself too seriously. We enjoy these types of tracks as it makes us loosen up a bit to be entertained.
Overall, “Not a Robot” is a song we will be adding and playing on our summer playlists and you should to.
